This year (2008) we would like to invite you to following exhibitions:

Constant exhibition " Krokowa and surroundings earlier and now."

A fascinating comparison between past and present times. Nowadays county of Krokowa consists of two parts which were separated by the Polish and German border in 1920 - 1939. The Easter bank of Żarnowieckie Lake and river Piaśnica separated Kashubian people from each other, some of them lived in the German part (Wierzchucino) and some in the Polish (Krokowa, Sławoszyno). The exhibition consists of 40 postcards of that time and present photographies, which document the changes in the architecture of the villages, residences and palaces within the last century.

Exhibition "Patria" from 28.04 to 10.07. 2006

A Polish artist from Sejny Wiesław Szumiński, a German painter who comes from Lithuania Rudolf Kimmina and Latvian sculptor Andris Varpa wonder what a word "patria" (homeland) means to them. Unusual works of art which make us think about the place where we live.

Exhibition "The new German painting style" - The New   Leipzig       School of Painting - The Castle, from 28.04 to 15.06.2006

Dorota Kabiesz and Krzysztof Stanisławski, the curators of the exhibition, managed to acquaint Polish viewers, interested in modern art, with one of the most interesting phenomenons in modern German painting, so called The new Leipzig School of Painting. In traditional interiors of the Castle viewers can find works of the most recognized artists from the Leipzig Art School such as: Arno Rink, Tim Eitel, Neo Rauch and Werner Tubke.

Exhibition "Eastern and Western meetings during war  and peace"       from July to September 2006

It is a historical exhibition, based on a book "Diamond wedding" by Herbert Somplatzky who makes us familiar with lives of people from Mazury who decided to leave the home region and move to Zagłębie Rury. Nowadays their offsprings are the living "bridges of peace" between Polish and German people. The exhibition presents in a moving way how much history determines lives of ordinary people.

After a few years the museum in Krokowa can be proud of a number of interesting exhibitions, which are admired by thousands of viewers every year.

2004: "In the whirls of water and light" - exhibition of the nature
          photography.
2005: "The photographies from the turn of the century -
          Hermann Ventzke on the road with the camera"

Every year we also organize the exhibitions of the Kashubian embroidery and post - contests exhibitions.
